Leah has been actively engaged in historical reenacting and living history demo presentations since she was sixteen years of age. She is Florida’s one and only female Civil War tension snare drummer. Her primary impressions are 1860s American Civil War civilians. She also dabbles in 1940s American influences.
Leah has spoken at multiple Civil War reenactments and living history events, on subjects like women and women’s’ clothing during the 1860s/Victorian times, Florida during the Civil War, female soldiers in the Civil War, and historical music. She also done numerous musical presentations with her instruments and speaks on her book, The Rebels of Florida.
