Come out to the iconic Barberville Spring Frolic for a day of bluegrass, history and fun! Leah will be dressed in period 1860s attire and on sight selling and signing books!

Where: Museum of Southern History, Jacksonville, Florida

When: May 2nd, 7PM

Come out to Jacksonville’s Museum of Southern History for a delightful evening! Hear LIVE historic 1860s music on dulcimer played by Leah, and then sit back and enjoy a history presentation on what it would be like to live in Florida during the Civil War. Following Leah’s presentation will be a The Rebels of Florida book signing.

Come out to the annual Farmland Preservation Festival and hear Leah play live historic music, in period attire! Books will be available for purchase.

Come here Leah speak on music during the American Civil War, and hear songs played on period instruments! Book signing to follow!

 

Occupation of Palatka Living History

Where: Bronson-Mulholland house, Palatka, FL

When: September 29, 9am-2pm

Come out to the Occupation of Palatka at the historic Bronson-Mulholland house and take a step back in time! See Leah in period 1860s attire and have your copy of The Rebels of Florida signed, or get yourself a signed copy if you haven’t yet!

 

Rifles, Rails and History

Where: Wooten Park, Downtown Tavares, FL

When: September 30, 9am-2pm

Rifles, Rails and History is a great event featuring a parade, lots of reenactors and displays and sutlers. Leah will be speaking under the big tent on Florida’s involvement in the War between the States, and playing live period music. Get your book signed or pick up a copy if you haven’t yet, and learn more about America’s past!
